I was using a Windows 2000 Office 2003 desktop to modify
an existing Access 2000 database. When I had to switch to
a Windows XP Office 2003 based laptop, all the linked
tables dissappeared from the Linked Table Manager.
All the linked Tables appearin the switchboard with the
Linked Table icon next to them just as they did before.
The database still works fine, I just can't update the
links.
This occurs with all databases that use linked tables.
When I go to a computer that has Windows 2000, all the
linked Tables appear in the Linked Table Manager.
HAs anyone heard of this before? Any suggetsions on how
to fix this? Being many of the databases are shared, I
don't want to have to re-import all the tables to all the
db's I might use.
Thanks!
