I was told that if I buy a new computer with Windows XP on
it that I may have trouble installing my Microsoft Office
2000 Professional. Is this true and if so how do I
overcome the problem--or can I?

Be sure to install the updates from: http://office.microsoft.com/

Office 2000 runs fine on Windows XP. Just be sure to install of the Office
2000 Service Packs (I believe there are three).
