Winfax and Word 2002

Now that I have DSL, I no longer use Winfax. Since
installing Office XP (2002) I am getting a macro error
problem being generated by Winfax; especially in Word and
Outlook. I removed Winfax and removed Office. I then
reinstalled Office, but I still get the Winfax icon in
Word and continue to have the same macro error warnings.
Is there a way to get all references to Winfax out of my
computer so that Word when it installs will no longer
recognize any connection to Winfax and its associated
macros? Thanks in advance for any help. Ray

I have always had problems with trying to run Winfax using the Word
macro since Word 6. These days I simply print normally and select the
Winfax printer.

You should find a document in the Word folder. Run it and choose
uninstall. You can also list the macros in NORMAL.DOT are remove the
ones referring to Winfax. Remember to save the changes to NORMAL.DOT.
