Winfax

I installed Winfax in my computer and I was forced to remove it.

Now I am trying to re-install and there is a box in the beginning of the
installation saying that I must remove previous installation.

There is no previous installation as I have removed it.

I look everywhere for tracing or remains of previous installation in all
register and,eve after I removed all of them, I could not re-install Winfax.

Going to Word 2003, I tried to delete all Winfax macros but the application
requires insertion of a password which was never set.

Any clue of what is happening ?

Had anyone this experience before, which could assist me, please ??

I'm not sure why you think this is a Microsoft Word application
error. In fact, I don't see how your question has any
relationship whatsoever to Microsoft Word.

If you have observed my post more carefully, you would see that I am saying
that WinFax has placed macros in WORD 2003 and eventually the impossibility
of re-install it could be linked with such macros.

I would go to the Symantec Website and check out support for Winfax. There
are specific instructions on how to manually remove all traces of Winfax so
you can re-install.

It's a pain but it works.
