I am all of a sudden having an issue with the Winmail.dat file popping up in
emails that are sent to our Mac Users that are running Entourage. I am not
sure what the actual situation is, but it seems to be somewhat dependent on
attachment size sometimes. I need to still be able to use some of the
features of sending in RTF, as there are a lot of conversations that are
going on that need to be able to be tracked, and in black and white, this
would be very difficult to do. I am not sure if some of them are going
through Exchange or not, but I would think that since Entourage 2004 is an
Exchange client, that even if they get forwarded through the Exchange server
to the Internet Mail Server that they should be able to decode anything that
is sent in either RFT or TNEF if that is the problem. Is there anyone that
can help me resolve this issue between 2 MS products. We are currently using
Exchange 2000 Enterprise, but are in the process of Migrating to 2003.
Thanks in advance!
