Winmail.dat

Hoping somebody knows the answer.

Sending an html email with a jpg image.

When I send an email from Outlook 2000 on win xp and copy myself, then read
the message in entourage, it's fine. The formatting is correct (except
entourage hoses the hyperlinks) and the image is inline.

When I send the same email from Outlook 2003 via another XP machine and cc
myself, the jpg is gone, and there is a winmail.dat file attached instead of
the jpg image.

Ideas?

The article says this will happen if I have Outlook configured to use RTF. I
don't. It's HTML. I'm sending in HTML. I swear to god this is the most
f**$&ed up email program in the world.
