I am looking for assistance on this same dilemma! My
Word 2000 has befun posting this message each and every
time it is opened. I have uninstalled Word and then
reinstalled and I am still getting this message. Any
help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated!

I am also experiencing the same problem! It started about
3 days ago with no apparent reason. My agency's IT help
desk has been fairly ineffective in helping me solve it.

We're running Microsoft Office 2000 Premium Suite over a
Windows2000 network. Tried both the 'repair' option and a
complete uninstall/reinstall with no success. Excel and
Access work just ducky. I have noticed that each time I
try to open up just the application, the default document
changes its name
incrementally... "Document1", "Document2", "Document3"...
but always bails. Trying to open an existing Word
document just fails miserably and has the added error
message of:

"Cannot find the file '<filename>' (or one of its
components). Make sure the path and filename are correct
and that all required libraries are available.

Please help!
