I have Windows 95 and Microsoft Office (Word 2000). While
using Word, if I only save my work to a disk I cannot open
the disk later. A blue box pops up on the screen with:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will
be shut down. If problem persists, contact the program
vendor. When I click on 'details' it says: Winword caused
an invalid page fault in module WKWDADDN.DLL at
0137:62fd5258. Then it shows a list of 'registers'. I can
take that same disk to another computer and it works
fine.
If I open Word 2000 and then decide I don't need to use it
afterall, I click on 'x' to close it and a box pops up
that says the same as above, only the module is
KERNEL32.DLL at 0137:bff7aaca. I've tried using 'Help' in
Word and clicking on 'detect and repair' but it still does
the same. Any suggestions? Thanks!
