Winword Error MS09.DLL

When I try to open Word 2000, I receive the following
error: "Winword has caused an error in MS09.DLL. Winword
will now close." I think this may be the result of
having running Works and Word on my computer at the same
time. The other programs in Office Suite (Excel,
Powerpoint, and Access runs fine. Can anybody answer this
question.

Typically a Word and Works conflict is encountered upon exiting Word.
However that isn't due to a conflict between Word and Works but rather
a conflict between Norton AV and an add-in called "Microsoft Works
Suite Add-in for Word". This add-in (found in Add/Remove Programs) is
only installed if Word came preinstalled as part of Works Suite.

There are several reasons for receiving errors starting Word. Start
