Winword.exe - Application Error

When working with the web tools in Word 2002,
specifically inserting scrolling test, I receive a
WinWord.exe - Application Error, and the program quits.
Is there a fix that anyone knows about so that I can use
the HTML features in Word? I have downloaded the updates
to office.
