WINWORD.EXE- Application Error

Hi All,

Has anybody received this error message when opening a
document in Word 2000?

Error Message
"The instruction at "0x650f5aa5" referenced memory
at "0x0000003e". The memory could not be "read"

It then asks me to terminate or debug. Both options close
the application.

Any assistance on how to correct this problem would be
greatly appreciated.

Check to see if the problem is just a specific damaged file.

If the problem happens across the board with all files, try the following article:
