WINWORD.EXE error message

I get an error message everytime I try opening my
Microsoft Word Program.
"Winword has caused an error in WINWORD.EXE.
Winword will now close.

If you continue to experience problems, try restarting
your computer."

I have tried to restart my computer, I have tried to
repair the program, I have tried to uninstall and
reinstall the program. Nothing seems to fix this!! What do
I need to do to fix this? Kids are going to need this
program for college, high school, & middle school soon.
