Winword.exe error

[BGR]

I keep getting this error and have done everything
recommended by MS to fix including removing winfax macros,
changing normal.do, deleting and replacing the vsb file,
deleting and reinstalling office.

Any ideas before I reformat? Thanks.

What error? What is the exact error message? What version of Word? What OS?
What are you doing when the error occurs (typing, saving, printing, opening
Word or a document)?

Thanks for responding. When I open a document I get
winword.exe error, close the document and restart the
program.

I get the samething with wordpad.
