winword.exe error

When I close a word doc, I get this error; error
signiture: Winword.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.7924
Modname:Kernel32.dll Modver 5.1.2600.0 offset 0000d756

I tried to do a clean install of Word, but it didn't seem
to help. The computer in question is running winXp Pro.

Any suggestions?
