I have a doxument that causes an intermittent error whenever I try to edit it
tables. To cause the error I have to add/modify/delete cells,rows or columns
in the tables. Changing the column widths of the tables also causes the
error. The problem is that the error does not occur exactly when you do the
modification - while you I am busy working on the document, the hard disk led
starts flashing rapidly and then a couple of seconds later the WINWORD.EXE
error with send/dont send report appears.
I am currently running MS Office 2000. The MS Word version is 9.0.6926 SP 3
and I have the following update installed
office2000-kb895333-fullfile-enu.exe as requested by my Lan administrator
after a brief investigation(apparently it was some some of malicious code the
Word 2000 couldn't handle), but it does not solve the problem.
I have also tested the document on MS Word 2003 and the error does not appear.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and I can email the document to anybody
if required.
