WINWORD.EXE hogs CPU when adding bullets

Hello everyone,

I have a document which uses columns and bullets. Until recently it worked
fine. Now, when I click on the Bullets toolbar buttton, it rockets the CPU
usage from 3% to 99%, and I have no idea

a) why, or
b) how to resolve it.

There are a couple of embedded JPGs, which I have deleted and resaved, to no
avail. Any suggustions gratefully welcomed.

It suggests a partially corrupt printer driver or corrupt font. Check that
you have the latest driver for your printer and then delete and reinstall
it. Does that resolve the problem?
