On my Tablet, I like to store my work on a USB storage device. After working
in Word 2003, I close it, and attempt to eject my USB Storage device.
However, I get the message that the device isn't ready to be ejected yet. If
I look at the running processes it turnes out WINWORD.EXE is still running,
even though Word is closed. If I terminate the WINWORD.EXE process, I can
eject my USB storage device without a problem.
Why is WINWORD.EXE still running in the background? More importantly, how do
I get it to terminate the process after I close Word 2003?
Thanks in advance for your time.
