Winword.exe takes over my processor. Correction?

When operating in XP pro, winword.exe keeps running my processor up to 100%
and the only way I can stop it is to stop the process in task manager. Is
there a correction to the problem.

You don't really provide enough information. For starters, in which
programming environment are you automating Word? (This IS a developer
newsgroup, so I'm assuming this is a developer question). Are any documents
open at the time? Always the same document, or various documents?

Most likely would be a corrupt document...
