WinXP Word 97 Spooler hangs

When printing from Word 97 in Win xp the first print goes
through, but the next ones Word hangs. The Print Spooler
goes to 85% or higher. Word stops responding and the
spooler has to be stopped and restarted to get any
response. Is there a fix for this problem.

Hi David,

First try obtaining an updated printer driver from the manufacturer's
web site and see if that resolves the problem.

Failing that, what patches do you have installed for Word?
