Winzip attachments blocked

I am no longer able to open up winzip files attached to emails. My computer
comes with a message that says "Can't create file: EXPORT.zip. Right-click
the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the
shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder". My only choice is
to click OK or shut down the box. When I follow these instructions, there
are three tabs under the folder names' properties-General, Sharing, and
Customize. None of the choices makes any sense for this. I ran my Norton
Anti Virus, spybot and ad-aware and still no luck. Does anyone know how I
can open the zip file?
