I am using an access form bound to a SQL view on the SQL Server 2000. When
the records are fetched it generates numerous PAG locks which lock the
updates. I got over that problem by executing a MOVELAST, MOVEFIRST and then
the locks are released.
However the following is beyond my control.
I enable form filter on this form , in fact in the open event I switch to
filter mode immediately.
This seems to generate the PAG locks in the same way like reading the data
even if the form is in filter mode. How can I go around this problem.
If you have any ideas.
Thanks in advance

Any solution for that, to disconnect or close the recordset somehow and on
which events.
I would most obliged if you answered.
Thank you in advance
