i'm new at this, so please be gentle
i am running office for mac 2004 pro on a powerbook g4 1.5g with 512k
ram, osx 10.4 (pause-deep breath); i cannot seem to find out how to
import files in excel from other (windows) sources; the message balloon
says there is no application to open the files, both of which are
proprietary software in windows word and excel; i have read the
instruction to go to the 'text import wizard', and to click on
'finish'; but when i get to the import wizard, there's no 'finish'

how do i go about importing filles from one excel user (on a toshiba
notebookrunning some version of windows after windows 2000) into the
powerbook? the files work fine when imported into a (very) old dell
notebook running windows 98
