WMF IN OFFICE 2003 NOT DISPLAYED PROPERLY

I have a WMF picture file, and i am trying to insert this picture into
powerpoint 2003. I use the insert picture drop down menu, but the Pic is
displayed wrong. It is as if the image has been stretched way bigger than
the picture box. but when you print the slide it comes out the right size.

But I cant work out why this is with Office 2003 as i do exactly the same in
Office 2002 and it is displayed perfectly.

Please help me as I have hundreds of hours work ruined because i cant
display my Slides Correctly.

Also I have exactly the same problem with Word 2003, the WMF is not
displayed corectly but is in Word 2002.

What is going on????????
