Hi

I'm currently trying to insert a WMF image into a word2000
document. However the image is larger than 1 page. So I
though it should be possible to let word wrap the image
onto the next page...not so. I also tried ungrouping the
WMF hoping this would do it, no luck.
Surely this can be done!
Any help would be appreciated

Word will not break images across pages.
WMF files are vector images so you could shrink to fit the page without
changing resolution.

Thanx for the responses.

I'm trying to automatically create multiple documents (+-
60) from another application. This creates an OLE
connection with word. Saves reports as WMF to disk and
triggers a word macro which reads the WMF file into a
template.
The problem is the reports span multiple pages.
The exact number is variable.
Any cropping or so will have to be done by this macro.

Robert

P.S. I considerd writing a CSV file which the macro uses
to create it's own reports, but I'v done this before and
it's a really painful process.

Hi Robert,

Are you trying to do something like a two page
(staple through the middle) book spread with a
graphic?

As Graham points out Word limits the size of any
object/graphic to one printed page. You can get
the appearance of a two page spread though by
either inserting two copies of the graphic and
cropping the display of each to only show half
or you can do it with a single copy and use a
bookmark on the inserted graphic and place a {Ref}
field (which basically puts the 2nd copy in for
you, but you still have to manually crop it) in
the location for the 'other half'.

Robert,

Can you send me one of them WMF files? Maybe our wmf2vector software
can do something with it to help.
