wms idle

[Frustrated]

Not sure if I am in the proper forum but here goes.
Almost every install in the last few days, XP-Home, and various versions of
Office 2003, after a couple of shutdowns we get an End Program "Wms idle"
error, and have to manually hit the End Now button to shut down the system

Any suggestions as to why, and how to resolve the problem.
