Won't Add Record to Data Source

I have a mail merge document that is no longer working properly. On the
'Mail Merge Recipients' screen the 'Edit' button is greyed out and I can't
get in to add another recipient. It was working fine this morning and there
haven't been any changes made to the data source. Help please!
