I was running Acess 2003 on Windows Vista, but couldnt access an mdb file
from a shared network (even by manually entering the IP in IE security
intranet settings). After more research, I found it was a version problem,
and loaded 2000 back on my computer. Since then, when I close Access, it
doesnt get removed from my task manager. Sometimes resulting in me not being
able to reopen it later. Sometimes it does let me reopen it though. Just now
I had to go into task manager and close 5 open MSACCESS.EXE files. It effects
me becauser when I click to open a report, my screen will flicker rapidly for
about 10 seconds before my report will actually open, and I think its because
it thinks the file already open, although its not. Any Ideas?
