Won't Fix

G

Grant Robertson

The following is exactly why I find it a total waste of time to go to the
trouble of posting things to Microsoft Connect:
===========================================================

The following feedback item you submitted at Microsoft Connect has been
updated:

Product/Technology - Microsoft Office OneNote
Feedback ID - 242969
Feedback Title - Undo moves and/or deletes ink that it shouldn't.

The following fields or values changed:

Field Status changed from [Active] to [Resolved]

Field Resolution changed from [Not Set] to [Won't Fix]
^^^^^^^^^^^

======================================================

Almost everything I ever have submitted to them sits there for a few
months and then finally gets this response. What the heck is the point? I
am no longer concerned with whether Microsoft knows about a bug. If I
report them here it is merely so other users such as myself can be aware
of them and figure out how to avoid them.

Won't fix is unfortunately a very common resolution. I'd say that prob.
at least half of the 400 bugs I submitted during the Office 2007 beta
were resolved with that. It's frustrating...
