Won't let me check a checkbox

Hello,

I have 12 questions on a form and each has its own checkbox. When I try to
click on a checkbox, it will not check. (each checkbox is called Question1,
Question2, Question2, etc etc) So I put another dummy field on the form to
check to see if that would work and it does. I then take the new checkbox,
rename it to question8 after deleting that question's checkbox...save it,
open teh form and it does not check!! What is going on?

Yes, that is correct, thanks. Instead then, I made the form
"dynaset/inconsistent updates" for it then to work.
