I have Microsoft Office 2000 Professional on my
computer...Just purchased this computer from someone but
when I try to use it is says that I need to insert
disk...What do I do? Should I just delete all the programs
that say I need a disk?

You will need the disk(s) for the version of Office that is installed
on your system. The person selling the PC to you should have provided
these to you. (Along with a certificate of authenticity....) Good
luck.

Try downloading updates from the Microsoft Website.

If this doesn't help, you may need to get the disk for
each program to reload them.

If you bought this computer from someone, then you should have asked for
installation disks.

You either need to remove what you've already got and buy the original
licensed and legal version for your computer or download openoffice.org
from http://www.openoffice.org .
