Woord 2007 locks when changing fonts....

I just received Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 Pro at the Launch last week in
Detroit and installed them with no apparent problems. I wnet to play with
Word 2007 and typed in some text and wanted to change the font. I moved my
cursor up to the ribbon and went to change the font and it locked on me and
told me that it has had an issue. i closed it down and ran the diagnostics
for Office and it found one issue and it fixed it. I went back to Word and
tried again and the same thing happened.

How do I fix this problem?

This type of error often indicates a problem with the printer driver.

If it's not a printer driver issue... was this an upgrade installation of
Office 2007? I.e., did you upgrade from Office 2003 or earlier? If so, then
it might be a normal.dotm or normal.dot corruption problem. Try finding
those files and renaming them (e.g., to old-normal.dotm and old-normal.dot),
and see if that fixes the problem.
