Hi,
I have all the options in Word 03 set for the clipboard not to
collect and not to appear. I've checked the Registry and the
pertinent clipboard setting is set to "1", which confirms that
it's been subdued about as much as MS allows. Basically, I wish
it would go away and let me use the Windows (XP) clipboard with
the freeware clipboard utility I use.
Nonetheless, I often get insufficient memory dialog warnings,
usually when I'm using a macro to update a table of contents in a
large document. Clearly the clipboard is being used.
Is there any way to really nuke the thing?
Or lacking that, is there some way to increase its capacity, or
automatically override the insufficient memory error?
Thanks,
p.
