Word 12.1.2 cannot process Image

I think I found a bug(DoS?) in Word 12.1.2.

Word cannot process cached image from Preview.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you haven't found anything that hasn't
already been widely discussed since the release of the 12.1.2 update It
has nothing to do with Preview, but occurs when attempting to save a file
containing a PDF as the 97-2004 file format. Also, it isn't limited to Word
- PPt & Excel have the same malady. It has been submitted to MS but as yet
there is no fix.

Yeah, this is one that's been going on for too long now A PITA, but
avoiding vector images or not saving in 97-2004 format will avoid it until
some resolution comes down - hopefully in the next update.
