word 200 in windows7

Hi, installed office onto windows7 and it all works except word2000! The
opening screen loads but the system reports that it cant communicate with the
program! tried to run in campatible mode but no better, is there any fix ...
please?

Same issue here. Word simply stops, will not display the toolbars even, not open any doc before freezing with blank outlines. No error message

Using MS Office 2000 Pro on Windows 7 Starter (Asus eee 1005HA netbook).
