Word 2000 and Outlook 2007 DIC

I use Outlook 2007 using Unicode for it's Custom DIC. I also use Word 2000.

Question is Can I be in Word 2000 and add a word to the Custom DIC without
it reconverting back to ANSI?
Another way of looking at it Can Word 2000 read, add, and save a Unicode DIC
without any problem? Or do I have to start using Word 2007?

Outlook requires the same version of word, in order to use word as its
editor

Try it and see... but I don't think it will work and it may corrupt the
dictionary file. You can set a different path custom.dic for office 2007
and this is what I would do to avoid corrupt files.
