WORD 2000 and RACING CPU to 100%

HELP... I am having a serious problem when using WORD 2000 and a racing
CPU. When I open a document in Word 2000, WIN XP OS, and work with
track changes for a few minutes my cpu races to 100% usage, for the
open word file and stays there..

I sent the same document to a friend who has WIN 2000 os and WORD 2000
same thing happens, a racing CPU to 100 usage for the word program
within a few seconds after the document is opened.....

ANY IDEAS WHY HOW TO STOP???

Hi Ciscobadboy,

Seems to me I answered this a couple of days ago. In a different group,
perhaps. Anyway...

This document is damaged. If you can still open it, you should select
everything EXCEPT the last paragraph mark and copy/paste to a new
document. (Or you could try using Insert/File to bring it into a new
document)
