Word 2000 and XP crashes with "runtime error 203"

I open repeatedly word documents from VB6 though Word library. Instance of
word is kept but documents are discarded. It works fine for a while but
after two hours or more Word 2K gives "Runtime error 203" and crashes behind
curtains and therefore halts my system. Word XP dies crashes silently and
doesn't show any error messages. I do not get any error messages to my own
program. Memory of word process stays same all the time, it doesn't grow.

Has anyone experienced anything similar and are there fix for this?

Is this code you have written? If so you may want to post to one of
the Word VBA newsgroups and see if the gurus there can help you
out.You should also include the code generating the error. That is
more important than an error number.

More or less. Code itself doesn't seem to generate error, it is something
inside Word. Error is raised only after hours system has been running.
