Word 2000 and XP

Hi all:
After 'Crash' XP and fixed it at the original state
by 'Recovery Disks,' then I tried to install 'Word
2000.' However, the screen saying the following
message, .... "not installed 'Word' previously, ....."
and refused the installation of Word 2000.
Before 'Crash,' however I did install 'Word 2000' without
any problem, ... then it made me truly perplexed, ... not
able to install Word 2000.

Any ideas and suggestions on this regard, ... 'Word 2000'
installaltion on XP would be greatly appreciated.
