Word 2000 Arrows

Word 2000 – drawing an arrow in an inserted jpeg.
Is there a way to change the End Style of the drawing tool bar arrow to a
new End Style different from the six available styles? Creating something
new in Paint, then copy and paste into Word, has a white box around it.
Thanks.

You might consider adding the arrow in SnagIt before reinserting the
graphic. The range of tools in the editor is quite comprehensive. There is a
fully working trial version,
