Word 2000 closes unexpectedly

This problem has been around for a little while now...
At first we found that word closes when we selected a column of a table
inside a text box (so i made sure that no-one put tables in text boxes)

Now we get word closing if we insert a column... Not inside a text box this
time.

Our situation,
We are running Office 2000, on server 2003, all users login through terminal
services.
the problem of course happens for all users.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Assuming you are not doing anything stupid, like sharing normal.dot, and
that you have Office updated to Service Pack 2, it is obviously some shared
service that is causing the problem - maybe a problem add-in or a defective
document template or a corrupt or out of date printer driver? There are lots
