I need to copy one style from the normal.dot (User Profile) to the current
document area. Seems like it would be easy but having some difficulty.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look up the OrganizerCopy method. This will let you copy the style into the
document. Then apply the Style to the selection or range object, using the
Style property.

I don't understand the question. The method should work
whether the style exists in the target document, or not?
