Re: Word 2000 "Could not open macro storage"
I know this is going back quite a bit in versions, but I'm stuck with
trying to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.
Problem: I have a template that has and continues to function fine in
Word 2000. Recently a few changes were made using Word 2003. The
updated template functions fine in Word 2003. However, a few lines of
code, that haven't changed at all, no longer work in Word 2000...get
the error ""Could not open macro storage"
I was able to narrow it down to the Save in Word 2003. Taking the
original fully functioning template, saving it without any changes via
Word 2003, then opening it with Word 2000 causes this error.
Compatibility in Word 2003 is set to Word 2000.
Any ideas? From other resources on the Web they say the template
would be corrupt, but how does a simple save cause this consistently,
every time?
Any help is appreciated.
