Word 2000 crashes upon opening

i installed my Office 2000 on new Dell XP. (Was on old NT system) While Word
works perfectluy under one log-on, when I switch to the second user - logon;
it crasshes every time upon opening with this message: Microsoft Word for
Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience
I have downloaded all updates and removed and reinstalled twice. Stil lno luck

Any ideas?

Most likely is a corrupt normal.dot in that user's profile. Possibly, but
less likely is a corrupt printer driver in that user's profile. See the
