Word 2000 - Crashes

Using Word 2000 with SP3 and only in MS word does the application randomly
crash. This would usually happen when I am copy data to another part of the
document but now MS Word will intermittently shut down. I have tried to
uninstall and re-install the application but to no avail and there is nothing
event viewer that give me any hint of what the problem might be. Any more
ideas?

Hey Albet,

Have a suggestion. Try this:

Try to start Word with the safe mode option. To do this click on start-->go
to run-->here type in winword.exe /a --> click on Ok and now see what
happens. Does word launch?

Also Albet, you have'nt mentioned what operating system you're on? Is it
Win98, Win 2000 or XP ? Let me know.
