Word 2000 crashing

I also try to open word and it opens but then comes up with an error message that closes the program. I have reinstalled Microsoft Office, and I went to the website suggested. However, I tried to go to rename the Product ID, but I could not find my ID number in my list. The error message I keep receiving when I open Word is: AppName: winword.exe AppVer:9.0.0.3822 ModNam: mso9.dll ModVer: 9.0.0.3821 Offset:0081c2a I hope this can be fixed!
