For some reason somewhere in our roaming profiles are stored information
reguarding the version and or startup info on which version of office you
are running. We have machines with both Office 2000 and office 2003 when any
user (except admin) goes from an Office 2003 box to an Office 2000 and tries
to print or save a word document . The word application dies splashes a
generic error of word has expierenced a problem and is generating a log and
must close the error does not trip any thing at the KB and is the error you
get whenever an office product locks up. What the #$@#%^&!^@*&@%^%!@ is going
on? My only solution to this has been installing Office 2003 on the machines
with Office 2000 on them this can't go on because I will run out of licenses.
I know it has to be within their profiles because I can delete their profile
and it will work again until they do it again. This is also not a viable way
because their profile houses all of their favorites and such. Please anyone
