Word 2000 Docs Open Differently

T

Travis

There are to users on my network that share documents.
When one user creates a document (which can fit on one
page) and the other user pulls it up, that document comes
up on two pages. It also prints on two pages instead of
one like it is supposed to.

I have verified that the page setup is the same on both
PCs and have gone so far as to replace the normal.dot file
on the second computer with the normal.dot from the first
computer that was used to create the document. If anyone
has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.

Hi Travis,

Word uses the printer driver to determine document layout/pagination.
Unless they use the same printer and have the same printer driver
installed then there really is no way to 'control' this issue since
printers may print a little differently.

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
