Word 2000 document corrupted by bullets when opening

Hi All,

I have hundreds of Word 2000 documents that I have created with a .dot
template and there have been no problems previously. But now, when I
open these documents, they are corrupted with bullets at the beginning
of all the paragraphs.

When my colleagues open the same documents on their PC's they have no
problems and the document appears as it should in it's original
format.

Can anyone tell me what is happenning on my PC/Word 2000?
