I have done extensive searches trying to find a solution to this
problem but all I see over and over again is that there is not a format
incompatibility between 2003 and 2000.
This is my issue. I have a document that I created in Word 2000 that
consists of tables and large images... basically I created a calander.
In Word 2000 the document displays correctly and all is well. When I
try opening the document in Word 2003 the formatting begins being off
with the right side columns of the table being half off the viewing
area. It appears as though 2003 is resizing the table columns
according to its own justification. There are some tables that do not
contain as much text and they actually look correct but there are
others that are way off and may barely show the right columns and then
some tables get divided between different pages.
I have tried re-sizing the columns but this doesn't do any good. I
have tried saving the document in 2000 using a different format but
still have the same problems when it is opened with 2003. The document
is 4.8mb and the problems occur on every system I have attempted to
open the document on.
Does anyone have an idea or a solution? I will gladly provide the
document for anyone who insists there are no compatibility or
formatting issues between 2000 and 2003.
Thanks...
