Word 2000 error - Lost Data

Q

Quiltmaker

When trying to save documents with several hyper links to websites, the
following occurs:
Message appears: 'All macros in this document will be lost if the document
is saved in text only. Do you want to save in this format anyway?'
Document was not being saved as .txt, but as .doc
Then I click No the following message appears:
'Word has lost data due to a bad network connection or missing floppy.
Documents relying on this data are going to be saved than then closed.'

Is this something that a software reinstall or upgrade would solve? Or does
it require a memory upgrade?

Where is the document stored? Is it local? On a floppy?

When you save the document are you clicking Save or using Save As and
verifying the file type? Also, check Tools/Options/Save and see if "Save
Data Only For Forms" is selected.
